#220 Calvinism, Arminianism and the Myth of Neutrality

Is it possible to not be an Arminian, nor a Calvinist? Can one be neutral or take a middle road on the historic debate? On tonight’s show we review a sermon by David L. Brown of First Baptist Church, Oak Creek in Wisconsin called ‘I Just Don’t Fit There – Why I am Not a Calvinist or Arminian’.

#219 The Reformation Project’s Agenda Vs God’s Word

Is The Reformation Project, started by Matthew Vines, Biblical? What does the group hope to achieve? A recent talk hosted by The Reformation Project at Renovation Church, Atlanta, called ‘Elevating the Dialogue on LGBT Inclusion in the Church’ was reviewed on tonight’s show. What are the views of Léonce Crump, Jr., senior pastor at Renovation Church (member of Acts 29); Ashley Matthews, Eastside parish pastor at Trinity Anglican Church; and Stan Mitchell, senior pastor at GracePointe Church on LGBT inclusion in the Church? Can practising LGBT people be included lawfully in the Church? Can an LGBT person change and leave behind this identity?

#218 The LGBT Invasion of the Christian Church

The Anglican Bishop of Grantham, Nicholas Chamberlain, recently revealed that he was in a homosexual relationship. What does this tell us about the Church of England? The current Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, stated that: “I am and have been fully aware of Bishop Nick’s long-term, committed relationship. His appointment as bishop of Grantham was made on the basis of his skills and calling to serve the church in the diocese of Lincoln. He lives within the bishops’ guidelines and his sexuality is completely irrelevant to his office.”
On today’s show we examine the sinister agenda of the LGBT movement, within the professing Church, as it seeks to co-opt the conservative wing of the Church to their apostate position. What role does the so-called “Reformation Project,” started by Matthew Vines, play in all this?

#216 Jesse Morrell Refuted on Calvinism

Recently Jesse Morrell, a well-known Pelagian on the internet, wrote an article called “TWENTY-FOUR SCRIPTURAL PROBLEMS WITH CALVINISM.” Is his critique valid? Does Jesse Morrell understand Calvinism? Do Pelagians, who deny the foundational Christian doctrine of Original Sin, have a credible profession of faith in Jesus Christ? How serious is their view of man’s nature? Paul will also be briefly looking at Jesse Morrell’s view of Open Theism.
